Manufacturing process

Chromium content of ≥10.0% classifies as high chromium balls. According to national standards, high chromium balls must have a hardness (HRC) exceeding 58, and exhibit an impact value AK of ≥3.0J/ 2. These must undergo a process of high temperature quenching followed by tempering treatment.
Balls with a chromium content of 1-3% are designated as low chromium balls.
