High chromium balls boast a chromium content of ≥10.0% and must adhere to the national standard of a hardness (HRC) of over 58, with an impact value AK ≥3.0J/2. These are achieved through rigorous high-temperature quenching and tempering treatments.
Low chromium balls maintain a chromium content between 1-3%.
