Chromium content of ≥10.0% is classified as a high chromium ball. According to national standards, the hardness (HRC) of high chromium balls must exceed 58, and the impact value AK should be ≥3.0J/2. These superior properties are achieved through rigorous high-temperature quenching and tempering processes.
Chromium content ranging between 1-3% defines low chromium balls, providing versatile applications for diverse industrial needs.
